Bills for real estate taxes are mailed to residents in March and are due July 10. Payments received before May 10 will receive a 2% discount. Late payments incur a penalty of 5%.
School district tax bills are mailed July and are due November 15. Payments made by September 15 will receive a 2% discount. Late payments incur a penalty of 10%.

Taxes not paid by December 31 will be referred to the county for further action.

In such a small borough, all residents can have the opportunity to make a difference. We encourage everyone to register to vote and participate in the election process, especially the local and municipal elections that can have a great impact our daily lives.
Applewold residents vote at the borough building located at 8 Hickory Street. Municipal elections occur during odd-numbered years. The next election for council will be held in 2025, when three seats will be up for reelection.
